I’ve always been creative at heart. Over the years, I've found joy in crocheting, knitting, and painting. Crafting has been my quiet place — the space where I could breathe, focus, and turn simple materials into something meaningful. Even when life was busy, creating was always my sanctuary.

But like many journeys, mine hasn't always been smooth.

I went through a divorce while raising three beautiful children who became my strength and purpose. Later, I experienced a devastating auto accident that forced me to slow down and reevaluate everything. Life shifted in ways I never expected.

During that season of rebuilding, I discovered something new — a deep love for sewing. What started as learning something practical slowly became something healing.  I found myself not just making handmade pieces… but rebuilding confidence, identity, and joy.

Sewing became more than a hobby. It became therapy. It became a reminder that even when life unravels, you can always create something beautiful again.

That’s how Expressive Attitude came to life.

This space is about handmade items created with care — and it’s also about resilience, growth, and self-expression. My hope is that when you visit here, whether you’re shopping, reading, or simply browsing, something resonates with you. Maybe you’re reinventing yourself. Maybe you’re healing.
